● A Pathway to an adorable life So, guys, I am Shankar Devarukhe, learner, painter, believer and achiever. But the one word follows me everywhere is endeavour. Why is this so? Let me tell you my journey of my own experiences and world of painting. Everyone knows, you can’t get everything cut and dried, not even a small pocket money. Since childhood, I had an affection towards drawing, paints and this affection got the unique way of growing from my graduation. The dedication and my passion came to fruition with my first rank in graduation as well as in post graduation which was done in fine arts. I was really eager to chase my dreams hence I started to paint professionally on national and international platforms. ● Painting: The entirety of a vision I really think, I had my finger on the pulse at the age of much earlier than most painters do. And through this, I have find my own unmistakable, mesmerizing and captivating painting style. A style which makes everything to accomplish in all the respective ways. In my given style of painting, I have done realistic figurative paintings. The spirituality or Adhyatma has unequalled sentiments that always give everyone peacefulness and calmness. Many great people said that spirituality is the key towards serenity. Every time I find a way out of deep storm because of this only. In my paintings, the background is painted using different ‘ mantras ‘ from Sanskrit like Gayatri mantra, Maha Mrutyunjai mantra, Maa durga mantra, etc ( in devnagari language from Maharashtra, India ). These show a traditional culture as well as credit enough value to tranquility. I have been inspired by religious sanctity of innocence and hence I have shown the young Brahmin students or Batus, Lord Buddha ,young girls and other religious minded figures. The attachments of a person with serene figure, always grow him up in a special way. In my painting, I have expressed Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh by their religious logos. Not even this But I have also emphasized the tilkas (signs on forehead) ,so that a complete soothing and relaxed paintings would give everyone inspiration. I have worked with different type of mediums like acrylic colors on canvas, oil colors on canvas, water color on paper, Mix media on canvas & some time dry pastel on paper.
