A science graduate, a banker and an artist. Yet, there seems to be some sense in all this madness. Study of science gave me clarity of thought that is so essential in any walk of life. The other day someone asked me “What is common to Painting and Banking?” My spontaneous response was “Balance.” Painting is the only consistent activity in my life since childhood. I was fortunate to receive guidance and encouragement from eminent artists viz. Bal Wad, M.S. Joshi and Prabhakar Kolte at various stages of my artistic journey. I don’t have any inhibitions about style or genre. I dabble in various genres from figurative to abstract expressionism and anything in between.
