Rao Ranveer Singh (born 1988, New Delhi) had spent his childhood days in Haryana with his parents. Being shy in nature he was preferably spending his days apart from regularly scheduled school curriculum also in observing flowers in huge farms, trees, ponds etc. Blooming Lotus, colours of butterflies, silent movement of fishes engaged him for hours. While experiencing the viewer of his paintings can comfortably connect with Ranveer’s untold memories of childhood, which he meticulously render with colour and naturalistic representation. Forms of fishes, butterflies, flowers and colourful wave of thread-like lines usually bring a sense of musical harmony as he weaves them together. Initially, he joined NIFT, Delhi but left the program and finally, he completed his academic training under Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai. Learning and exploring different possibilities of pictorial representation like textile weaving, printmaking etc. His paintings reflect ‘Mother’,’ Breakfast’ narrates his regular association with surrounding life. Mundane objects like utensils, spoon, clock, shower and his emotional attachment with mother comes together as a recollection of his subconscious. The layers of colours, patterns, shapes and contours invite us to have a visual pleasure but lead us to rethink about the daily drama usually unnoticed but sensitively depicted by Ranveer. Ranveer as an Indian national, he has worked in the education sector as a Visual Artist, Graphic Designer, Textile Designer and counsellor for over 10 years. He is well-informed about the different education systems and requirements for higher education worldwide. An extremely knowledgeable person, he now uses his extensive experiences to guide Art & Design students and assist them in their college research and admission process. With his team of highly qualified artists, designers, educators, and counsellors he conducts workshops, art camps, photography tours, and competitions in different schools while also attending various seminars and conferences worldwide to equip himself with the information and available opportunities to guide students appropriately.
